NCERT Recruitment 2024: The National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) is currently seeking qualified and deserving candidates for the posts of Assistant Editors, Proof Readers and DTP Operators purely on a contract basis. As per the official notification of NCERT Recruitment 2024. This opportunity offers a contractual engagement for candidates interested in contributing to the work of NCERT in the specified roles. NCERT Recruitment 2024 for Eligibility Criteria

For Assistant Editors:

• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Book Publishing/Mass Communication/Journalism, where editing is one of the subjects.
• At least 5 year experience in editing, producing-planning and supervising publications especially school textbooks, monographs and reports in a responsible capacity.
• Knowledge of book production techniques, modern process of printing, typography and should be proficient in English/Hindi/Urdu.
• Desirable Word processing and techniques of online editing.

For Proof Reader:

• A Bachelor degree either in English/Hindi/Urdu.
• At least 01 year experience of working in a Printing or Publishing organisation as Copy Holder/Proof Reader.
• Desirable Working knowledge of Computer.
  Knowledge of Typography.

For DTP Operators:

• The candidate should have Graduation in any subject.
• One Year Diploma/Certificate course in Desk Top Publishing from a recognized institute.
•  Minimum 3 years experience in a publishing house of repute preferably in textbook making.
• Proficiency in In-design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Equation Editor, Microsoft word, including Excel and Page-maker.
• Proficiency in typing both in Hindi and English.
• Desirable
  Knowledge of Quark Express and Corel Draw
  Knowledge of prepress preparation
